Type of data collected

Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • IP addresses
  • User e-mail
  • A username of your choice
  • A real name, if provided

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • create an account on an application
  • voluntary publish a message or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email
  • use or view our website via your browser’s cookies

How will we use your data?

We collect your data to the following purposes:

  • account management
  • contact members by e-mail for information about Nasqueron
  • legitimate interests like site and account security.

Your data isn't used for any marketing purposes.

Your data isn't shared with third parties.

How do we store your data?

Location. Your data is stored securely on Nasqueron infrastructure, hosted in datacenters in the EEA zone. Data doesn't leave the EEA zone. Those servers can only be accessed by Nasqueron Operations SIG members and are secured by SSH access, with private/public key cryptography.

Retention. The data is kept as long as the person wishes to keep the account on that service, and then, as long there is a legitimate interest to keep the data. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by, as appropriate according the application, (i) deleting (ii) anonymizing the personal information parts of records.

What are your data protection rights?

Nasqueron would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access. You have the right to request Nasqueron for copies of your personal data. The European legislation allows us to charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification. You have the right to request that Nasqueron correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Nasqueron to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure. You have the right to request that Nasqueron erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that Nasqueron restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to Nasqueron’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability. You have the right to request that Nasqueron transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please request it on DevCentral by creating a privacy request.

Disclosure

Under certain circumstances, Nasqueron may be required to disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, for e.g. a court.

Nasqueron may disclose data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • comply with a legal obligation
  • protect the personal safety of users of the service or the public
  • protect against legal liability
