Brainstorming about names

When we brainstormed about the name, it seems the orientation of the project would be more about ping/monitor/perform health check than report the status of the sites:

  • StatusHub
  • PulseMonitor
  • SystemTracker
  • ServiceWatch
  • HealthCheckr
  • SiteScope
  • StatusMate
  • OpsAlert
  • MonitorMe
  • CheckPoint

A synthwave and cyberpunk inspired list:

  • NeonStatus
  • CyberPulse
  • SynthWatch
  • RetroStatus
  • WaveCheck
  • CyberScope
  • PulseWave
  • SynthScope
  • NightWatch
  • CyberMate

ServPulse

The Serv part can refer to both server and services.

The 'Pulse word conveys a sense of real-time monitoring and alerts, which is a core function of a status page application.

The combination of the two, ServPulse, has the advantage to be unique as software name.

It was an hapax on a Google search when we started this project, but now, a UK company registered under the same name 2025-04-15.
